Site Dumper - New Entrant QSCS

Course Description

The Site Dumper Operation Course is a comprehensive three-day program designed to provide participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to safely operate a site dumper.

Upon completion of the course, candidates will receive a Solas log book, enabling them to work under supervision. After completing six months of work experience detailed in the log book, candidates can undergo assessment for the relevant QSCS CARD.

The course begins with registration and induction for new entrants, ensuring a smooth start to the training. On the second day, candidates will be introduced to the machine, covering essential aspects such as:

- The machine operator's manual

- Maintenance checks

- Safe operation

- Machine safety awareness

- Preparing the machine for movement

- Traveling with the machine, and various machine operations.

 

Continuing on the third day, candidates will further develop their machine operation skills. The practical test requires candidates to demonstrate their proficiency in tasks specific to the plant equipment being tested. These tasks include setting up for operation, performing operations effectively, and properly parking and securing the machine.

The course duration spans three days, allowing ample time for comprehensive instruction and practical application. By the end of the course, participants will possess the necessary knowledge and practical skills to safely operate a site dumper.

Requirements:

To be eligible for this program, candidates must meet the following criteria:

1. Have at least three months General Site Experience

2. Be at least 18 years of age

3. Hold a Valid Safe Pass Card
